Awards

The Hall of Fame was established in 1985 on the occasion of the school’s 25th Anniversary. The honor of being inducted into the Bishop Kelley Hall of Fame has been bestowed upon more than 130 members of the Bishop Kelley Community in honor of their extraordinary and meritorious service to the betterment of the Bishop Kelley community. 

To be selected for the Hall of Fame, individuals or groups must exemplify at least one of the following:

• Exceptional commitment to Bishop Kelley and its mission over an extended period of time, evidenced in a variety of ways.
• Extraordinary service and involvement with Bishop Kelley over an extended period of time, evidenced in a variety of ways.
• Meritorious impact upon the BK community, which has significantly changed our school community for the better. 

Bishop Kelley’s Athletic Hall of Champions, formerly named the Athletic Hall of Fame, was established in 2004 to recognize and pay tribute to the athletic accomplishments of alumni and others associated with Bishop Kelley, whose contributions to athletics deserve recognition. To date, more than  65 members of the Bishop Kelley community have been inducted into the Hall of Champions including coaches, athletes, teams, and athletic pioneers.

Alumni Awards are limited to Bishop Kelley alumni who have made extraordinary achievements within four different categories since graduating from Bishop Kelley.

The winners are nominated by members of the Bishop Kelley community and selected via BK committee, based solely on their accomplishments in their respective fields, and/or in service to others.

Four Nomination Categories:

• Outstanding Young Alumni
• Concern for the Poor & Social Justice
• Dedication to Quality Education
• Distinguished Alumni

Since these awards began in 2018, 28 people have received Alumni Awards.
