Bishop Kelley is a Catholic diocesan high school, inspired by St. John Baptist De La Salle, that carries on the teaching ministry of Jesus Christ by preparing students’ hearts and minds for a purposeful life.
The mission of Bishop Kelley Athletics is no different from the same mission that has been the driving force for success in the whole Bishop Kelley community for more than 50 years. Our athletic programs, just like our academic programs, each strive to build students into compassionate, resilient, dedicated, and faithful leaders in community.
The value of athletics in schools reaches far beyond the surface of win/loss outcomes just like the value of the classroom environment is so much more than grades. Bishop Kelley is committed to nurturing athletic programs that meet the inspired vision of the school's mission statement while also teaching valuable lessons in leadership, work ethic, and sportsmanship.
Bishop Kelley High School offers 20 OSSAA sports. Since opening in 1960, Comets have earned 115 team state titles and frequent recognition for outstanding regional, area and academic performance.
