SEPTEMBER: Victory Dance after a home football game on the practice field

OCTOBER: Fall Homecoming Dance at Tulsa Convention Center (Semi-formal)

FEBRUARY: Winter Homecoming Dance at Bishop Kelley (Dress Up Themed Dance)

APRIL: Junior/Senior Prom at Tulsa Fairgrounds Pavilion (Formal)

MAY: Incoming Freshman Dance at Bishop Kelley Commons



FRESHMAN ORIENTATION: A two-day orientation where the freshmen have the opportunity to meet their fellow classmates. Students also have the opportunity to see everyone who is in their classes and lunch. They will also learn about using student planners, ways to get involved at Bishop Kelley, rules of the school, how to check email and grades online, and about the Christian Service requirements.

FRESHMAN OLYMPICS: Another opportunity for students to meet more people. Freshmen will be put into teams and will compete in different activities to find out which team is the freshman Olympic champion.

FRESHMAN GIRLS PIZZA PARTY: This event is hosted by our spirit squad. Freshman girls are invited to eat pizza and help the spirit squad paint signs for our football games.

FRESHMAN LOCK-IN: A lock-in for the freshman class. There are many different activities during the lock-in. Activities include mass, human bingo, human machine contest, inflatables, basketball, volleyball, food, a dance, etc.



KISS YOUR MOM GOODBYE: On the first day of school, seniors will line the Bishop Kelley U drive and welcome the freshmen to their first day of high school by asking them to kiss their mom or dad goodbye.

BACK TO SCHOOL BBQ: A free BBQ for all students to celebrate the first day of school.

WATERMELON DAY: During lunch, free watermelon slices are handed out to students and faculty.

POPSICLE DAY: After school, our administrators hand out free popsicles to the students and faculty.

FALL PEP RALLY: Students recognize all of our fall sport athletes at our first pep rally at the end of the school day.



WALL DECORATING CONTEST: Each class decorates a wall in the Commons according to the homecoming theme.

SPIRIT STICK: The Bishop Kelley Spirit Stick is hidden on campus and students are given clues every day to try and be the first to find the spirit stick and win homecoming tickets.

DRESS-UP DAYS: Students and faculty are invited to dress up for the different homecoming theme days (decade’s day, red/white day, superhero day, etc...). There are usually two per homecoming week.

HOMECOMING PEP RALLIES: At the end of each homecoming week, students will have a pep rally to recognize the homecoming court, fall athletes, and to help cheer on all our teams to victory.



ALL SCHOOL MASS: The entire school will celebrate mass together.

GRANDPARENTS DAY: Students are encouraged to invite their grandparents on campus for the day. Activities include a prayer service, campus tour, and reception in our student commons.

FACULTY BREAKFAST: Student council members host a free breakfast to show their appreciation to their teachers.



DE LA SALLE FOUNDERS DAY: A day to celebrate the school’s patron saint. Activities include an all school mass, pep rally, and free picnic for students and faculty.

3 ON 3 TOURNAMENT: A 3 on 3 basketball tournament held in the gym. This tournament is run by student council. The finals of this tournament are played on De La Salle Founders Day during the picnic.

ALL NIGHT GRADUATION PARTY: A lock-in celebration for the graduating senior class to celebrate their 4 years at Bishop Kelley. Activities include: poker tournament, photo booth, karaoke, baby photo contest, inflatables, basketball, ping pong, volleyball, hypnotist, and lots of food. Parents help to chaperon this event.
