Online Safety

BARK provides an opportunity for you to help keep your children safe online while supporting Bishop Kelley High School. BK has recently partnered with Bark, a monthly subscription software, using advanced algorithms that monitors a child’s social media accounts, emails and texts for potential cyberbullying, sexting, drug use, online predators, depression and suicidal thoughts. Bark alerts parents when there is a potential issue and provides expert advice on the best ways to address the concern.

When you sign up at bark.us with code 4JQ25Wr, 25% of your monthly membership fee is donated to Bishop Kelley High School for the life of your membership. Your membership cost is only $9/month/family after the free trial month. You may cancel the service at any time.

Funds directed to Bishop Kelley will be directed to the Safe and Drug Free School account and used to offset costs associated with Bishop Kelley safety initiatives.

Click here for a parent flyer with Bishop Kelley’s specific identity code.  Use this code when signing in and setting up your account. You will find helpful tips in the “Complete Guide to Your Child’s Mobile Device”. It is a great support piece for parents as you assist your child in navigating the world of social media.

Thank you in advance for being part of a community to foster a safe environment for our students!  Please feel free to contact Jeff Pratt, Dean of Students with any questions.
