Distinguished Alumni Awards

Bishop Kelley High School is excited to announce that, for the first time ever, the school will recognize the accomplishments of four alumni at an annual banquet with the inaugural event taking place this fall.  The 2018 Lasallian Founder's Awards Banquet will be held Thursday, Oct. 11 in the school cafeteria with cocktails at 6:15 and dinner at 7:00.

From online nominations made by members of the BK community, the school will select a Distinguished Alumni Award winner.  In addition, an alumni will be recognized for Service to the Poor and Social Justice; another alumni will receive the award for Commitment to Quality Education; the fourth award will be the Young Alumni award for those age 35 and under.

“We are excited to host our first annual Lasallian Founder’s Awards Banquet where we honor Bishop Kelley alumni who have accomplished extraordinary things in their careers,” said Fr. Gary Kastl, President of Bishop Kelley. The awards banquet highlights the mission of St. John Baptist De La Salle, founder of the Christian Brothers, and the five core principals of the Lasallian Mission – Faith in the Presence of God, Quality Education, Concern for the Poor and Social Justice, Respect for All Persons, and Inclusive Community.

Bishop Kelley invited members of the BK community to nominate alumni for these four awards. A committee that included seven Bishop Kelley alumni made the final selections. We are delighted to announce the following will be honored at our inaugural dinner:
