Bishop Kelley High School is pleased to welcome back Parker Frazier, Class of 2007, as Head Baseball Coach for the Comets. Upon graduating, Parker was drafted by the Colorado Rockies as a Pitcher and now has over 12 years of professional baseball experience, playing for the Philadelphia Phillies, Oakland Athletics, Arizona Diamondbacks, Chicago White Sox and the Cincinnati Reds. Parker joins Bishop Kelley following a successful run as Holland Hall’s Head Baseball Coach. Prior to that he served as Cascia Hall’s Assistant Baseball Coach and Pitching Coach.

“Team culture is everything,” says Parker in regard to his coaching philosophy. “Players will go above and beyond for their teammates, working together to obtain one goal. Team culture not only helps develop athletes, but helps turn young men into outstanding individuals and leaders.”

“We’re thrilled to have Parker on our team,” added Bishop Kelley Athletic Director Lance Parks. “In his first three years as a head coach, Parker’s program accumulated 78 wins and three trips to the playoffs, including two appearances in the State Championship. Additionally, he’s helped mentor and obtain more than 200 scholarships for players over the last 14 years.”
