Enrollment, Tuition, Fees, and Tuition Assistance Information: 2019-2020 Academic Year

 

Enrollment/Re-Enrollment
  • Enrollment/Re-Enrollment takes place each year in February.  The purpose of this process is two-fold.
    • This helps the school update or capture any pertinent information related to your child.
    • This helps the school estimate enrollment and determine staffing needs.
  • The cost of Enrollment/Re-Enrollment is $275 annually. 
    • There is a $50 discount if paid by February 28, 2019.    
    • This can be paid through Plus Portal [credit card] or directly to the Business Office [cash or check].

2019 - 2020 Tuition Assistance

·         Applications for Tuition Assistance are processed through FACTS Management.  The link is here: FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment  Please note there is a $35 application fee.

  • FACTS has a Spanish Language conversion button in the top right corner of the screen.

·         Application deadline, with all required supporting documents, is due by April 15, 2019.

  • Review and notification will be completed no later than mid-May.
  • Tuition assistance applications and the review process are confidential.

·         All Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Tulsa use the same FACTS Grant & Aid application.  If you are completing a FACTS application at another school, there is no need to fill out a second.  Just add your BK student on your Application and it will be routed to the school. 

·         Bishop Kelley encourages everyone to submit an application for tuition assistance.  Families with a demonstrated financial need likely will receive tuition assistance.  Bishop Kelley is committed to working with families to assist with making your child a “Comet” for life!

Tuition Assistance Stats

  • Bishop Kelley continually strives to make tuition affordable and strives to increase assistance to our neediest students.  Since 2014, with the help of our donors, the school has been able to increase the amount of assistance awarded by over 37%. 
  • In 2019-2020, the amount of assistance available is estimated to be approximately $900,000.    
    • Approximately 20% of Bishop Kelley students receive some amount of financial need-based tuition assistance. 
    • Awards range from $1,000 to $7,500 with an average award of $4,400 in 2018-19

·         The above amounts do not reflect any tuition assistance awarded.

·         Any balance remaining after July 1, 2019, will be moved to TADS and the school will send the family an invitation to sign up for on one of the TADS payment plans listed above.  All TADS payment plans must be set up before July 15, 2019.

Student Withdrawals & Tuition Refunds 

If a student withdraws for any reason after the first scheduled school day, your tuition, and any tuition assistance award, will be prorated on a semester basis. The registration fee is non-refundable. 

·         If your student has attended Bishop Kelley for one day, and then withdraws, you will be responsible for the full semester’s tuition. 

·         If your student has begun attending second semester classes, you will be responsible for that full semester’s tuition. 

·         The balance will be due at the time of withdrawal. 

·         Student records and transcripts will be released only after the balance is paid in full.
