2020 Auction Postponed to August 29th

As a valued member of the Bishop Kelley community, we would like to keep you informed of school updates and developments. Out of concern for the health and well being of attendees, we have decided to postpone BK’s annual Auction, originally scheduled for April 18, 2020 at River Spirit Casino.  This decision has been made due to the need for social distancing during the current health crisis.

The annual Auction has been rescheduled for Saturday, August 29th at River Spirit Casino.

Our 60th anniversary celebration that following Sunday, Praise and Picnic, has been cancelled, but may be rescheduled for a later date.

We appreciate your patience with us as we adapt to lifestyle changes that are currently in place for us today and for the coming weeks.

Bishop Kelley is now in its 60th year of operations and the 2020 Auction will mark the 40th such event that’s helped fund much-needed projects and programs for so many years. The Auction is a time for Bishop Kelley families, not just current families but families whose children graduated years ago, to come together with alumni, grandparents, and friends of the school to celebrate everything BK has to offer.

The net proceeds from the Auction are used to fund a wide array of programs that help make Bishop Kelley the special place it is.  These programs include fine arts, academics, athletics, retreats, mission trips, and so many more learning opportunities for our students----things that can’t be accomplished with tuition alone.

We’re excited to be the diocesan high school that provides an outstanding, Catholic education for its current 929 students. As such, we hope you will mark your calendars now and make plans to join us for the 60’s Soirée August 29th as we celebrate BK’s past 60 years and look toward a very bright future in the decades to come.

As events like Auction and other BK-related activities are postponed or even canceled, please know that we make these decisions, not in haste, but for the welfare of our overall community. If you’ve already purchased your Auction tables, we encourage you to keep those reservations and if you haven’t made reservations yet, we hope you’ll do so very soon.  And more importantly, I invite you to keep the Bishop Kelley community, students, faculty and staff, in your daily prayers.

Yours in Christ,

Very Rev. Gary Kastl
President
